Originated around the 11th century from a clearing settlement, Dinkelscherben was first mentioned in a document in 1162. Today almost 7,000 people live in the entire municipality. Due to its proximity to the new Augsburg University Hospital, the good infrastructure and the local recreation area “Western Forests” right on the doorstep, Dinkelscherben is a very attractive location for a new building.
The market town is conveniently located to the city of Augsburg (25 km to the center, 22 km to the Kriegshaber University Hospital). There is a good connection to the A8 motorway via the nearby “Zusmarshausen” to reach Munich (100 km) and Ulm (70 km).
