In six residential groups, 85 nursing places will be created in the area of ​​inpatient care. There are 79 barrier-free care apartments on three floors, some of which are wheelchair accessible: 73 single rooms with a total living space (including special and shared property) between approx. 55 m² and 62 m² and six so-called “doubles”, two identically sized care apartments with a shared bathroom and anteroom, with a total living space (including special and shared property) of approx. 118 m². The room sizes themselves are a generous 21 m² to 24 m² for the single rooms and approx. 46 m² for the double rooms.

33 parking spaces on the property also offer sufficient space for cars belonging to visitors, employees and service providers. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the facility.

The residents have the opportunity to furnish the apartments individually and according to their own taste with their personal furniture. Wide windows emphasize the spaciousness of the rooms. Thanks to the additional window strip, residents in wheelchairs also have the opportunity to enjoy the view. In addition to high-quality outfitting features and a nurse call system, the outfitting also includes curtains and wall paint in warm colors as well as telephone, LAN and TV connections. In order to create space for community, 15 care apartments are combined to form a residential ensemble.

The new care facility PflegeAuf DER ALB offers attractive common areas and outdoor areas to those in need of care of all levels. The special structure of the house allows you to participate in community life even if you need serious care.

With special concepts, people with dementia as well as residents suffering from geriatric psychiatric disorders are provided with professional care. Manageable residential ensembles with spacious common areas as well as a residential ensemble with a walking garden that is specially tailored to the needs of people with dementia are available to residents.

A “guardian angel system” guarantees security and the greatest possible freedom for people with a wandering tendency. Thanks to this system, residents who like to explore can move freely at any time. They wear a transponder that sends a signal via radio when they want to leave the building.

In addition, each residential ensemble has a 60 m² communal living room with a kitchenette, its own outdoor area and a comfortable seating area, which invites residents to linger or take part in day-structuring and therapeutic offers. There is also a 24-hour nursing station on each floor.

As a meeting place, residents, relatives and guests in the care facility area have access to a lovingly furnished cafeteria with a terrace where they can relax. The invitingly designed, open entrance area is the central point of contact for relatives and visitors if they have any questions or concerns. The residents are supplied with food from the in-house full-service kitchen, where the food is prepared fresh every day. The avendi chefs rely on a healthy and varied menu with seasonal and regional dishes.
