The bucolic community of Schulzendorf adjoins the nature reserve of Waltersdorfer Flutgrabenaue. Surrounded by the ecologically valuable landscape of the Dahme Lakes region and historical buildings, this area offers space for rest and relaxation.
The “Ritterschlag” residential area is being built on a formerly open space between Ernst-Thälmann-Straße in the north, Miersdorfer Straße in the west and Walther-Rathenau-Straße in the south.
The nearby A113 (Berlin-Dresden) motorway ensures good connections to the inner city areas of Berlin and the large production facilities in Adlershof, Köpenick and Neukölln. The A10 ("Berliner Ring") road running south of Schulzendorf connects the location with destinations in an east-west direction (Potsdam, Cottbus).
Both Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) and the S-Bahn train station in neighbouring Zeuthen can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. With S-Bahn lines 8 and 46 you can reach Alexanderplatz in just under 40 minutes. Two bus lines in the immediate vicinity connect the district town of Königs-Wusterhausen (approx. 25 minutes) and the neighbouring municipalities.
For shopping and other activities, many are drawn to the towns of of Königs-Wusterhausen, Luckau and Lübben as well as to the conveniently located "A10-Center" shopping mall, directly at Schönefelder Kreuz.
Kindergartens and primary schools are located nearby. Secondary schools are located in Schulzendorf, plus a larger selection in the surrounding communities of Eichwalde, Zeuthen and Wildau.
Local supplies are also ensured: numerous shops for daily errands, the Mittelbrandenburgische Sparkasse, a post office and doctors' offices have already successfully settled in the area.
