Important architectural monuments such as the baroque Basilica of St. Lorenz, the princely residence and the Gothic St. Mang Church shape the cityscape with their unique architecture.
The extensive options for care and educational offerings are ideal for families. In Kempten there are several childcare and day care facilities.
