The Dormagen district has around 9,000 inhabitants and convinces with beautiful residential areas. You can quickly reach the centers of Düsseldorf (18 kilometers) and Cologne (28 kilometers) via the nearby A46 and A57 motorways. S-Bahn trains run from the outskirts to the neighboring metropolises every 20 minutes. Düsseldorf Airport can be easily reached with the S11.

Nievenheim is a popular place to live due to its good infrastructure and the nearby forest and fields. You can do your weekly shopping, for example, in the Edeka store just 800 meters away or in the Aldi branch 650 meters away. A visit to the surrounding farm shops is also worthwhile. Here you will find diverse and high-quality products from the region. If you don't have the time or the inclination to cook something yourself, you can choose between various restaurants and cafés.
