Innovative building technology
The apartment building, completed in 2023, can be seen as a prime example of sustainable housing. Due to its building efficiency, the building is in accordance with the Energy Saving Ordinance EnEV 2016 KfW 40 EE and thus receives the energy efficiency class A+. In addition, electricity is only used on the CO²-free energy source.
The electricity is generated by our own approx. 100 kWh strong PV system. This electricity is fed into the heat pumps, which in turn produce the hot water for the underfloor heating. The electric water heater, which provides hot water, is also powered by the electricity from the PV system.
The wall boxes in the carport also benefit from the self-generated electricity. A cost-effective charging of electric vehicles is therefore also possible.
Due to the size of the PV system, the building is 83% self-sufficient and the owners are independent of fluctuations in electricity prices.
Living in the middle of Döhren
The apartment building is located in a quiet side street in the Döhren district of Hanover.
Döhren is located in the southern area of the city of Hanover and has 13,700 inhabitants.
The district of Döhren is mainly built up with apartment buildings. The weekly market at Fiedelerplatz and the farmer's market are popular. This square stands out with its numerous shops and bars and forms the central point of the district.
Urban and kid-friendly
Due to the large number of schools and day-care centers, this area is ideal for young families.
You don't have to look far for recreation areas here either. The nearby leash allows you to go for a nice walk and the dog run areas ensure good utilization for the four-legged friend.
