Location and environment
Waldtrudering is located on the eastern outskirts of Munich and is one of the region's quietest and most sought-after residential areas, characterised in the main by detached and semi-detached houses as well as smaller residential complexes with plenty of intervening greenery. Developing from the former farming village of Trudering, this agricultural history can still be seen traced on many street corners, continuing to shape the character of this garden city.
This residential area shares a southern border with the Truderinger Forest, a popular local recreation area with many opportunities for leisure activities, sports and recreation. Heading out from Waldschulstraße, you can walk to this natural spot in just a few minutes.

The city centre can be reached by public transport in about 20 minutes via the Gronsdorf S-Bahn train station (S6/S4 lines), just 1.6 km away.
