An ensemble of a residential and commercial building on the street side and an apartment building in the second row are being built at Homburger Landstrasse 91-95. The choice of the location of the VIS Á VIS project was a conscious decision for GSW and intended as part of an overarching ecological concept. Due to good local transport connections, future residents can possibly do without their own car, even if 9 parking spaces are available. In addition, two e-car spots with their own charging station will be made available permanently for car sharing.
Thermal insulation in efficiency classes A to A+ for the apartments is part of the ecologically sustainable overall concept at VIS Á VIS. Bivalent heat generation with an efficient air-water heat pump in combination with a gas condensing boiler saves resources and energy.

Eckenheim
Liveable, quiet and with an excellent infrastructure
Lovingly restored half-timbered houses, narrow and winding streets: the Frankfurt-Eckenheim district, which is just a long walk from the centre, stands in contrast to the hectic bustle of the Main metropolis with a sense of almost rural idyll. Old and rustic inns like the “Homburger Hof” offer traditional Hessian cuisine as well as the Frankfurt national drink, the Eppelwoi im Bembel.
This former farming and gardening village was incorporated in 1910 and is surrounded by the districts of Dornbusch, Bornheim, Frankfurter Berg, Nordend, Eschersheim and Preungesheim. Eckenheim is quiet, but still has a very active clubs and societies scene and numerous district festivals. The carnival clubs “Die Fidelen Eckenheimer” and the “Krätscher” are particularly well-known throughout the city.
The fire protection, disaster control and rescue service center (BKRZ) of the Frankfurt am Main fire brigade has been located in Eckenheim since 2003. Kindergartens, a primary school and local medical care: Eckenheim has an excellent infrastructure.
The Frankfurt Stock Exchange can be reached via Eckenheimer Landstraße in just 15 minutes. Local public transport has been excellently developed for the area's many inner-city commuters, so that a private car is not absolutely necessary for the residents. In addition to the bus, the residents of Eckenheim can also use the U5 underground line. Among the 46 districts of Frankfurt, Eckenheim is an insider tip for urban living with good connections.
