This property on Franz-Mehring-Platz has lain fallow for many years, neglected, exposed to the weather and patiently waiting to be used again as a central residential space in the neighbourhood. The aim of this new build project is to replace the existing dilapidated structure with a new apartment building plus modern retail spaces and thus to upgrade the entire district.
A building with seven full floors is being built on three sides of the block facing Franz-Mehring-Platz, Rüdersdorfer Straße and Singerstraße.
In order not to bring excessive parking traffic into the quarter, parking spaces in an underground facility are being built for the residents below the building.
