Your single-family home is being built in the “TaunusViertel”, a beautiful new development area on the city limits of Idstein. Hofheimer Straße is located on a southwest slope with a view over the city and the Taunus forests. You can reach the construction area via the L 3026 in the direction of Niedernhausen.

The project

The architecture

The house wins through the clear structure of the facade. The large windows with fine divisions underline the harmonious character. Colors, shapes and materials are coordinated.

The concept impresses with the successful division of the areas and clear allocation of the areas of use. Playing with daylight is a challenge for the architect.

The construction method

The house is built of solid masonry construction and has a full basement. The thermal insulation is carried out in accordance with the Building Energy Act 2024 (GEG 2024). Foundations and floor slab in concrete. The outer walls and the load-bearing inner walls are made of sand-lime brick.

The floor ceilings consist of reinforced concrete ceilings. The staircases are made of prefabricated reinforced concrete parts. A thermal insulation composite system is applied to the external masonry to increase the thermal insulation value. The house entrance door system consists of plastic profiles with safety insulating glazing.

An intercom system consisting of a door station and an in-house telephone with a bell as well as a mailbox will be installed in the area of ​​the door system.

The outdoor area

The sidewalk will be paved and the terrace will be covered with large-format slabs. The remaining area of ​​the property will be laid with turf and planted with plants and shrubs.

  • The house is equipped with a large number of electrical switches (large area switches) and sockets. Telephone connections and TV cables are sufficiently available.
  • An exhaust air heat pump for hot water preparation, heating and ventilation is installed in the house connection room.
  • A photovoltaic system will be installed on the roof to generate electricity.
  • All rooms in the house are heated by underfloor heating. The temperature is controlled individually in each room using room thermostats. The house also has an electrically operated fireplace in the style of an open fireplace.
  • The houses received a massive prefabricated garage with an electrically operated garage door, which can be opened using a hand transmitter. The access to the garage or the access to the front door is made of concrete composite paving, the parking space is made of joint paving with a corresponding substructure.
