The Stadtrat-Cremer-Allee, situated in Dortmund’s Gartenstadt, is essentially the focal point of exclusive real estate.
Drawing on our decades of experience in high-rise construction, we look forward to contributing to this historically significant site, shaping the future at the new address: Stadtrat-Cremer-Allee 28 & 28a.
We asked ourselves how best to do justice to this special location; can a site of such prestige truly be matched? After months of detailed discussions, we are firmly convinced we’ve found the solution.
Architect Dipl. Ing. Arndt Oberdorf recognized the uniqueness of this historic site and the opportunities the Stadtrat-Cremer-Allee offered, weaving them seamlessly into the design.
“It was clear right away: residents should experience the view of this tree-lined avenue not just when they go for a walk, but right from within their own apartments, each and every day.”
Oberdorf deliberately opted against the villa style, commonly found in the Gartenstadt, instead drawing on the expressionist features that characterize the district: “We’re all about the future. even so, the construction will feature classic, traditional craftsmanship and robust architectural detail – that’s beta Eigenheim, a legacy company since 1977,” says Oberdorf.
Plans were drawn up, reworked repeatedly, and refined in constant communication with the building department. “The design wouldn’t let me rest until I was fully convinced – and that’s always important for me – that I, too, would be content to live here if my roots weren’t in Hamm,” the architect explains.
