Project description
Finally - Sophie
New build construction of 28 high-quality condominiums
The urban keystone of the Sophienterrassen quarter also closes the circle with its name. Sophie - from the Greek σοφία ("wisdom") - is timeless and stylistically free of fashions. This fine restraint is not an attitude, but elegance that springs from classic lines and Hanseatic awareness. Architect Mirjana Markovic created her last work here, which pays homage to this location.
With a keen eye for the smallest detail and the courage to use a clear design language. Or simply described by Goethe's Faust as "the final conclusion of wisdom".
The white clinker facade also gives the building a particularly appealing and sublime look.
Mirjana Markovic is also the master planner responsible for the entire Sophienterrassen complex, where she also designed the Alster villas, a park villa and two groups of townhouses. This makes her the defining architect for the district and she has thought about one thing in particular: the well-being of future residents.
A fine piece of Hamburg
From concept to completion
A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step, and the path from the former military site to an elegant residential area had to be mastered from stage to stage. An important milestone is the acquisition of the property by FRANKONIA Eurobau AG in 2006. But there were small and large, important and interesting events before and after. Their bandwidth ranges from noise-related reports to the commitment of Karl Lagerfeld. In their chronological order, they form the chronicle of a district.
Hamburg Harvestehude
Who hasn't lived here, in Harvestehude, on the banks of the Alster. The list of residents reads like a directory of those city celebrities who are still reflected in the names of Hamburg's streets and buildings:
The Lutteroths and the Amsincks, the Slomans, Blohms, Laeisz` and Hudwalckers - Harverstehude and in particular the banks of the Alster have been the city's top address for a century and a half, a place of residence for important merchant families and a reflection of economic history.
The elegance of the district, as history also shows, always grew out of close cooperation between private investors and the city - right down to the Sophienterrassen.
Sophienterrassen Hamburg - one look is enough:
Hamburg is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Hardly any other city has so many first-class and diverse residential areas.
