Düsseldorf - Grafenberg

Düsseldorf is the state capital of North Rhine-Westphalia and the administrative headquarters of the Düsseldorf administrative district.

Directly beyond the district boundaries in Flingern-Nord is the headquarters of Metro AG, the main employment agency, the Thyssen Trade Center and many office buildings.

Located on the edge of Düsseldorf's city forest, the district has above-average greenery. The extensive Ostpark located here also contributes to this.

Grafenberg has parts of a closed Wilhelminian style development as well as numerous buildings from the 1920s and 1930s. There are also high-quality houses from the 1980s.

The spring fair always takes place on Staufenplatz at Easter. Circus organizers like to pitch their tent here. The rest of the time it is available for park and ride.

The largest club in the district is TV Grafenberg with over 1000 members in the basketball, boules, football, gymnastics, kickboxing, tennis, table tennis and gymnastics departments.
