Welcome to “Hermann 111”!
About 150 years ago, committed Berliners opened up and developed the Weißensee district. One of them was the artistic gardener and entrepreneur Hermann Roelcke. He recognized the attractiveness of this green oasis not far from the metropolis - and helped shape it.
Hermann Roelcke developed a type of city park that enabled a new quality of life with regular elements, lined promenades and formal squares as quiet lounge areas.
We have breathed new life into this garden art - and supplemented it with an ideal residential concept that combines many wishes: on the one hand, the proximity to the city, on the other hand, the freedom and naturalness of a facility in the countryside.
So welcome to “Hermann 111” on Roelckestraße! Welcome to a new type of residential ensemble for everyone who wants to combine living at the park with a communal square and curved private gardens.
Freedom in the big city
A new residential complex is being built in the middle of Berlin, which will soon become the home of all those who are looking for a protected, green cosmos in the middle of the busy city world. Named after the art gardener Hermann Roelcke (1832 - 1896), the ensemble “Hermann 111” not only inherits his name, but also his vision: the district center is transformed into an open, green area whose gardens flow smoothly into the inner courtyard a generous place of communication and meeting place between friends, family and neighbors can be created - a village in the city feeling, but bigger, wider and full of liveliness.
The location
Weißensee, part of the Pankow administrative district, not far from Prenzlauer Berg, in the east of Berlin, is one of the city's family-oriented residential areas. Here you will find less hustle and bustle and hustle and bustle of the city, but quiet corners with beautiful parks around the White Lake and the Holländerviertel as well as mature residential streets that are a bit reminiscent of a garden colony. If you like the hustle and bustle of the big city, you can reach Berlin city center in just 20 minutes by bike.
“Hermann 111” is growing as a small settlement,
which fits well into the urban flair of the area.
In the center, a two-part courtyard opens up as a meeting place for young and old, with play areas and benches, surrounded by newly planted trees and green spaces. In the western part of the courtyard there is a playground for children who can play together here.
Four buildings are arranged around these meeting places in the center - an apartment building (House A), which separates the interior of the district from the street, two city villas (Houses B1 and B2), which stand out as monolithic islands in the green area, and as Another building, House C, which is divided into three townhouses.
All houses are connected to each other underground. An underground car park with 41 parking spaces extends under the entire area, so that your future apartment can always be reached quickly and dry.
From here, the supplies can be easily brought into the apartment after shopping, as the elevator runs from the underground car park to the residential floors.
