Location description

The project is located in the Berlin district of Köpenick on Dämeritzsee. The area extends from Berlin’s city center to the eastern border and is a popular recreational destination.

Dämeritzsee lies in southeast Berlin, with half of the lake on Berlin’s territory and the other half in Brandenburg. The Berlin-Rahnsdorf locality of Hessenwinkel (Treptow-Köpenick district) borders the lake to the north and west, while the town of Erkner (Oder-Spree district) lines the eastern and southern shores.
