On Dambacher Strasse in Fürth, on the former site of the Tucher brewery – and thus in the best residential area in the city - three modern apartment buildings with a total of 63 extensively outfitted residential units are being built in the second construction phase. The ground floor apartments have private gardens with mostly south or west orientations. All other apartments have a balcony or loggia and the penthouse apartments convince with their spacious rooftop terraces.
The entire ensemble is very family-friendly thanks to the adjoining daycare center and the playground that belongs to the residential community. Thanks to the development's elevation, a home here offers wonderful views of the Rednitzgrund, which is only a few steps away. The routes into the countryside or into the fresh air is always very close: whether on your terrace or in your own garden (ground floor), on your balcony/loggia (upper floors), or from your rooftop terrace in the penthouses (loft level) – or out in the nearby Rednitz meadows.
The pleasant feeling of walking barefoot on a warm parquet floor, operating the living room roller blinds electrically or the option of a bathroom with a floor-level shower - these are just a few of the conveniences and extensive and practical amenities these apartments offer. The view of the Rednitz meadows is a memorable experience thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows, a southern or western orientation and all-glass balustrades.
The entire outdoor area has a well thought-out open space concept based on the neighboring Rednitzgrund. The entrances are accessible from a private road, the underground car park can be reached from Johann-Geismann-Straße, which runs parallel to Dambacher Straße. The buildings are surrounded by private gardens that belong to the corresponding apartments on the ground floor. Most of the gardens face south or west. The private gardens are fenced in and thus protected against unauthorized access.
The city under the sign of the green shamrock is lucky even if the shamrock in the coat of arms of Fürth is "only" three-leafed. As part of a dynamic metropolitan region, Fürth, together with Erlangen and Nuremberg, forms one of the strongest economic areas in Europe. 3.5 million people live here, 1.9 million of whom are gainfully employed and generate an annual GDP of 118 billion Euros. An export quota of 47 percent shows that what is developed and produced in the metropolitan region is in demand worldwide.
The settlement of Fürth, first mentioned in a document on November 1, 1007, was awarded the title “City of Science” by the Bavarian State Minister for Science for its millennium. The Central Institute for New Materials and Process Technology of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and the project group of the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits contributed to the award.
Because Fürth, in contrast to many other German cities, suffered only minor damage in the Second World War, the city shines with a largely preserved historical cityscape. Fürth is one of the cities with the highest density of protected architectural monuments, as a walk through the old town shows.
The Rednitzgrund along Dambacher Strasse is located on the western edge of Fürth Südstadt and is considered a first-class residential area for good reason: on the one hand, it is only a short walk to Fürth's city centre, on the other hand, you can be in the countryside just as quickly in a few minutes. In the west, the Rednitz meadows border on the Dambach district, which is characterized by numerous heritage-listed villas, including those of the wholesale merchant and Quelle founder Gustav Schickedanz. In the Südstadt you can find everything that is needed in everyday life. Several kindergartens are available for families, and Fürth also offers a wide range of schools. The two universities located in Fürth can also be reached from Dambacher Straße by bike or local public transport.
Thanks to very well-developed cycling and hiking trails, the beautiful floodplains are not far away. Many animals, including herons and storks, can be seen there. The natural meadows of the Rednitz stretch for many kilometers through the cities of Nuremberg and Fürth.
The connection to public transport is excellent. In a few minutes you can walk to Schwabacher Strasse, which runs parallel to Dambacher Strasse. Further north it forms the pedestrian zone of Fürth. There are also regular buses in Schwabacher Strasse that take you directly to Fürth main station and the city centre in a very short time.
