the fundamental location of the plot (near Düsseldorf with excellent transport connections) ensures a very attractive offering on spacious plots. the development of Ratingen-Hösel consists mainly of detached single-family houses. other buildings are almost exclusively for the direct supply of the local population (for example, shops, doctors, schools, and kindergartens). other commercial activity is only present in isolated cases.
the B 227 leads from the Breitscheid motorway junction through Hösel to Heiligenhaus and on to Velbert. due to the new build of the A 44 between the Ratingen-Ost motorway junction and the Heiligenhaus exit, a significant reduction in traffic on the B 227 is expected. the Angerbachtal bridge has already been completed since autumn 2022.
the missing section is not expected to be completed before 2025.
Hösel station is located on the main route of the Ruhr Valley Railway, on which only the S-Bahn line S6 Cologne-Worringen – Düsseldorf – Ratingen Ost – Essen operates. three bus lines run from there to Düsseldorf-Kaiserswerth (line 751 via Lintorf and Angermund), Velbert (line 770 via Heiligenhaus), and Ratingen (line 773 via Eggerscheidt). the call bus line O14 runs to Breitscheid.
