8 townhouses are being built along Goldammer Weg, 4 houses in each terraced row. The houses have full basements and consist otherwise of a ground floor, an upper floor and a mezzanine floor. The living space inside each houses constitutes approx. 150 m². The plots of land are between approx. 117 to 201 m² and face south. Each house has a parking space.
The State Bauhaus was founded in 1919 by Walter Gropius in Weimar as an art school. The Bauhaus was intended to explore a merger of art and craft. Today, the Bauhaus is considered the home of the avant-garde and classical modernism, especially in the field of architecture.
The Bauhaus style is characterized by flat roofs, ribbon windows, lots of glass, right angles and cubic-form architecture. The defining colors are a plain white, usually paired with black or anthracite, and the primary colors typical of the Bauhaus – red / yellow / blue – which you can continue to use in the interior of the house according to your own taste. These are special houses for a modern zeitgeist.
The facade of the eight houses is finished in shell white, offset with alternating zones of smooth and brushed plasterwork. The external frames for window and sliding door systems are in anthracite. Accents are set by primary colors on the window elements. Balustrade cladding and roof surrounds are in pre-weathered zinc. Outdoor lamps, house numbers and letterboxes are also in anthracite. The outdoor facilities are carefully planned. The complex includes a large playground with appropriate facilities and a community area.
Our architects designed these houses to have full basements with a lot of esprit. On the ground floor you'll find the living/dining area with an open-plan kitchen, which can also be closed on request, as well as the guest toilet and a storage room. Upstairs you'll find 3 rooms and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and bathtub. The mezzanine floor offers space for 2 more rooms and an additional bathroom.
All room partitions can be customised if you so desire.
The houses have a light-filled domestic atmosphere thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Tall doors underline the generosity evident everywhere, while underfloor heating and an additional towel radiator in the bathroom are just some of the extra feel-good factors. Electric shutters with timers, solid oak staircase steps and oak parquet floors are also part of the package, as is white-painted painter's fleece for the walls.
All triple-glazed windows and house entrance doors will be fitted according to increased security standards. The bathrooms or the guest toilets are tiled using large format tiles according to your wishes, while the rest of the sanitary program is of course uniformly high quality.
The houses are heated by a climate-friendly local heating system using a biomass supply.
You will receive this wellness package as standard. In addition, we are of course ready to adapt to your wishes and also to support you with advice and experience in planning your dream home.
Cologne-Junkersdorf is a locality within the coveted Lindenthal district. At the beginning of the 20th century, elegant single-family detached houses in the Bauhaus style were built throughout Junkersdorf, integrated into beautiful avenues and parks.
The supply of daily necessities is provided by shops largely located along Kirchweg and the area around the old town center. In addition, Aachener Strasse and the Rheincenter Weiden offer excellent shopping opportunities.
The connection to the city center is optimal both by car and public transport. The motorway ring can be reached in a few minutes, while tram line 1 is within walking distance.
Why do so many celebrities live in Junkersdorf? Because it offers more than the everyday. Bistro99 with the Kunstraub99 gallery is a platform for art and culture, allowing you to dine surrounded by art and numerous events. Or you can go to painting courses and reading groups at the Dietrich Bonhöfer Church, meet in the many hip bars and bistros in the district, e.g. Playa in Cologne, Club Astoria, Fischermann’s.
Or you can enjoy the best ice cream in Cologne from the Keizerliche Eismanufaktur along Kirchweg, keep yourself physically fit by biking or jogging in the city forest and along the Adenauer Weiher, train with the SC Weiden, FC Junkersdorf or ASV Köln. Or, or, or and then some. In Junkersdorf the day should have 48 hours.
