Urbach is located in the beautiful Rems Valley, only about 25 minutes by car from the state capital of Stuttgart. Urbach is excellently connected to regional and national transport via the 4-lane B-29, the railway line with a Metropol-Express stop and the Schorndorf S-Bahn station. Stuttgart Airport can be reached from Urbach in just 45 minutes.
Urbach is beautifully situated in the south by the virgin forest and in the north it is connected to the popular local recreation areas, the Welzheim Forest and the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park.
With around 9000 inhabitants, Urbach is one of the larger communities in the Stuttgart region and has an excellently developed infrastructure and a lively, culturally diverse and socially committed life.
