Maierhoferstraße in Regensburg is a quiet side street off Luitpoldstraße on the eastern edge of Regensburg city center. The surrounding quarter is characterized by houses from the Wilhelminian era. Many of them have been lovingly renovated in recent years.
Until recently, there was an unattractive, ageing office building from the 1960s at Maierhoferstraße 1.
This gave rise to an the idea of Martin and Ferdinand Schmack (shareholders and managing directors of the Schmack Group companies) to erect a new building at this spot that would blend in harmoniously with the surroundings.
The housing market in steadily growing Regensburg has been very energetic for years. For this reason, it was decided to replace the office building with a new, attractive residential property.
