The small port town, which became known nationwide as the TV location "Deekelsen" in the mid-1980s through the TV series "The Country Doctor", is one of the most popular tourist and tourist destinations with its unique location in the Schlei Nature Park and its close proximity to the Baltic Sea Local recreation destinations in the metropolitan region of Hamburg.
