Two detached houses are being built in the Huusbarg Ensemble project. Here you will find further information about the single-family homes.
“Impressed by the green roof of the old oak trees that line the Huusbarg to form an avenue, I wanted to place a classic-modern construction on the sunny property.
I was inspired by the architects of the so-called “Hamburg School” for this design. They included Fritz Höger, Kurt Schumacher, Karl Schneider and the Gerson brothers. They succeeded in making Hamburg one of the most important places for modern regional architecture in the 1920s. Their buildings still have a positive impact on the Hamburg cityscape today. Basic ideas of the Bauhaus were combined with regional materials. I wanted to quote the details and materials from this period such as brick, pilaster strips, lattice windows and rounded masonry corners and bring them into a contemporary context.
The building opens onto the garden side via large windows, capturing the excellent lighting conditions of the property."

Our furnishing concept for the living spaces is characterized by high-quality materials and timeless elegance. Our oak parquet is durable, easy to clean and particularly warm to the feet. This provides an additional feel-good factor. Choose between country house oak, natural oak and whitened natural oak, or choose a completely different parquet according to your ideas. And of course you also make the decision between herringbone or parallel laid floorboards. Ultimately, your personal furnishing style should harmonize perfectly with the floor. The hall/cloakroom, hallway and cooking area have square floor tiles from COTTO D ESTE, which we will introduce to you on the next page. White painted interior doors (RAL 9010) from HGM with appropriately selected handle sets harmoniously round off the overall picture.
The large-format square floor tiles from COTTO D ESTE (60x60 cm) underline the generous amount of space in the bathrooms. It's up to you to choose the color. You can choose between different tile coverings depending on your individual taste in terms of colors and surfaces. You can set your visual accents with exclusive fittings from Dornbracht, for example. Do you want clarity and reduction or contemporary style elements? Or a particularly easy operation. Together we will look for the optimal combination of furnishings for your bathroom from the range of brand manufacturers. Always individual - always exclusive.
The respective townhouses have slightly different floor plans on the ground floor, which we would be happy to explain to you in a personal conversation. We thank you for your understanding that we do not send the plans by email, but rather present them in a personal appointment.
Volksdorf - a place that means home. Here in the middle of the idyllic north of Hamburg, surrounded by nature and peace, lies this charming avenue lined with old oak trees with its beautiful properties and attractive residential buildings.
Volksdorf and especially the address location Huusbarg are very popular and offer the perfect conditions and conditions for a feel-good home. So it is also a perfect place for children to grow up in a safe and child-friendly environment. Here they can play carefree and freely, ride bikes and discover their surroundings.
The property is surrounded by a green idyll and offers space for wild adventures and relaxation. It is a place where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and unwind. It offers enough space to play together, relax and simply be.
The Huusbarg - a place where you can enjoy life to the fullest and have a wonderful time. Enjoy the play of sun and shadow as the seasons change in this location and in this green part of the city.
You only understand this sentence when you live here. Because by “village” we mean the center of Volksdorf – the beautiful district in the middle of the forest villages, in the northeast of Hamburg.
With its market square, half-timbered houses, shops, cafés, restaurants, swimming pool and its own cinema, the “village” is a popular meeting place for young and old. There is a cozy and friendly atmosphere here that invites you to linger. The nearby Volksdorfer Forest, one of the largest forest areas in Hamburg, and the Teichwiesen nature reserve offer many opportunities for walks, jogging and cycling. Time to enjoy the beauty of nature and escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
There are many clubs and initiatives that make life in Volksdorf more colorful and varied. Regular events such as the Volksdorf street festival or the Christmas market in the museum village attract visitors from all over the city.
For families, Volksdorf is an attractive place to live as there are many kindergartens, schools and leisure activities. The Schemman playground, for example, is known far beyond the forest villages and is a popular excursion destination. Overall, Volksdorf is a place full of charm and character that knows how to combine tradition and modernity. A place to feel good and relax that has become a home for many people.
