Location and surroundings

The Brandenburg town of Ketzin an der Havel is located approximately 30 km west of Berlin and around 20 km northwest of Potsdam. Its scenic riverside setting on the Havel, complete with a modern marina for sailing and motorboats, adds to its appeal. The town’s historical charm and proximity to both the state capital and the capital city make it a highly attractive place to live. The sandy beach at Ketzin’s Havel shore even features a volleyball court.

But it’s not just the culture and leisure activities that define the appeal of Ketzin. The area’s growing job market also adds to its livability.

By car:
The A10 motorway lies about 8 km east of Ketzin and provides easy access to Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), as well as direct connections to Hamburg, Hanover, Munich, and Poland. The nearby B5 federal highway offers access to Berlin’s city center in about 30 minutes (approx. 26 km), while Potsdam and Nauen can be reached via the B273 in approx. 15 km and 16 km respectively.

By public transport:
The entire Ketzin area is served by the Havelbus (line 614) with connections to Potsdam and Nauen. Plans are in place to reactivate the rail line through Wustermark toward Berlin and Rathenow, with service expected to resume in approximately five years. The station is just 500 meters from the property.
