Project description

Essen – the green metropolis
Near downtown Essen, residents of quieter suburbs can indulge their desire for big-city hustle and cultural diversity. Here, the dynamic transition from an industrial city to a future-proof administrative, commercial, and service hub is clearly felt.
The Ruhr region’s most forested city continually surprises with prominent events and world-class exhibitions. A visit to Museum Folkwang broadens your horizons for the fascination of the visual arts, while an excursion to the “Zollverein” UNESCO World Heritage site, with its regularly changing events, awakens a thirst for more industrial heritage. Let go of everyday cares by attending a concert in the world-renowned Aalto Theater or in the powerful-sounding Philharmonie.
Best-in-class shopping options and a diverse culinary scene, including the locally famous “Rüttenscheider Kneipenmeile,” make a trip to the city center a very special experience.

Energy and heating concept
Heating system – air-to-water heat pump
An air-to-water heat pump is in step with the times and offers a cutting-edge building technology solution. As fossil fuel costs rise, extracting heat from the environment has become a clever alternative to conventional gas or oil heating systems.
Heat pump – the eco-friendly alternative
Today, in terms of primary energy consumption and CO₂ emissions, heat pump heating systems are clearly superior to gas and oil. from an economic standpoint, they make an important contribution to saving energy and, fully in line with comprehensive environmental protection, significantly reduce pollutants such as CO₂, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen, and particulates. from a primary energy perspective, the heat pump is one of the world’s best heating technologies today.
How does the air-to-water heat pump work?
installed outdoors, the air-to-water heat pump is especially efficient and quiet, harnessing free environmental energy for heating, cooling, and hot water.
the heat pump is composed of two units connected by coolant lines. in the outdoor unit, you’ll find the evaporator, compressor, and expansion valve. the indoor unit houses the condenser and the entire hydraulic system, including a pump and a hot-water storage tank. the modulating compressor with inverter technology adjusts its output to match the building’s current heating load.
the actual heat gain occurs via a specialized coolant in the pump’s evaporator. the coolant’s property of evaporating at extremely low temperatures is used to store the energy it absorbs as it transitions from liquid to gas. the gaseous coolant then flows into the compressor, where its volume is decreased. this increases both pressure and temperature sharply. the hot, gaseous coolant passes through the heat exchanger and transfers its stored heat to the home’s heating system.
nearly maintenance-free, the heat pump is a technically robust heater that can reliably supply 100 percent of the building’s warmth. the technology behind heat pumps is well-developed and has proven itself in real-world applications.
Photovoltaic system
A PV system converts sunlight into electricity. “PV” stands for photovoltaics, the technology that makes this process possible.
A photovoltaic installation includes various components, such as solar modules, mounting frames, solar cables, power storage, an inverter, and an energy meter. the solar modules generate direct current from sunlight, which the inverter converts to alternating current.
a PV system can be connected to the public power grid, allowing you to feed in and receive payment for your generated electricity, or it can run off-grid so you can use or store your own electricity.
Energy-efficient and sustainable living
our new developments are built according to the new GEG 2023 (Building Energy Act), designed to achieve more climate protection and sustainability in housing.
our homes feature high-quality outfitting, optimal insulation, and intelligent building technology, enabling a comfortable, cost-efficient living experience.

Location
Absolutely quiet, yet central – that might seem impossible, but it becomes reality at beautiful Haverkamp in Essen-Burgaltendorf.
Just a stone’s throw away from the historic castle ruin, the bus station, local shops, schools, kindergartens, and more, this extraordinarily appealing new build project is taking shape. the picturesque Ruhr embankment is also only minutes away, offering countless recreational opportunities. walkers, joggers, cyclists, rowers, and more will find what they’re looking for here.
With a cul-de-sac layout, Haverkamp has no through traffic, ensuring a completely peaceful street and an area in the Burgaltendorf district primarily characterized by attractive homes and some farmland. the neighboring properties are well-established and well-maintained. the surrounding area combines high quality of life with a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. the environment is green and offers a pleasant balance of residential zones and open spaces, allowing kids to play in nature.
Despite the 3-city corner of Essen, Bochum, and Hattingen, nature dominates here. a tranquil living environment, yet perfectly connected to major roads, makes this location attractive to families, commuters, and nature lovers alike.
In Burgaltendorf at Haverkamp, you don’t just “live” – you truly “experience life.”
