The new build project "Gustav's Hofgärten" is being built in the historic center of Französisch Buchholz. the creation of a total of 52 exclusive condominiums are divided into two construction phases: “Gustav's Lenz” along Hauptstrasse and “Gustav's Lese” along Gartenstraße. In the first construction phase, "Gustav's Lenz", the so-called "Vierseitenhof", a former homestead, provides the basis for the construction of five high-quality buildings that form an urban residential complex housing a total of 20 individual residential units.

This heritage-listed ensemble was first mentioned in a document in 1884. Houses 1, 3 and 4 will be extensively renovated as extant buildings according to the demanding requirements of conservation protection regulations. Houses 2 and 5 will be completely rebuilt. The residential buildings fit seamlessly into their surroundings, an area that has been developing since the 17th century. Eleven of a total of twenty residential units are created under the conditions stipulated by the architectural conservation authorities and are tax-privileged thanks to conservation-related depreciation conditions (§§7i and 10f EStG).

In the second construction phase, "Gustav's Lese", an underground car park with 31 individual vehicle parking spaces is being built in the basement below the buildings. There will be a footpath from the Hauptstrasse property through to the Gartenstrasse property that includes access the underground car park.

Outfitting

The light-flooded apartments all have real wood parquet, partly underfloor heating, high-quality tiles and fittings as well as a modern and contemporary switch range according to the high standards of BUDIRO-Living. The residential complex is supplied with heat from an in-house combined heat and power unit. Energy Saving Ordinance 2014 (EnEV 2014, as of 01/01/2016) guidelines are of course fulfilled.

Französisch-Buchholz - country idyll and urban life

Gustav's Hofgärten are located in the historic centre of French Buchholz and belongs to the Pankow district in the north of Berlin. The name of this historic district goes back to the French Huguenots who established a "French colony" here in 1687 at the instigation of Elector Friedrich Wilhelm. The descendants of these so-called 'refugies' still live here today.

'French' Buchholz is still characterized by French flair rubbing shoulders with Brandenburg rustication. Various adjacent recreational areas and nature reserves plus a diverse, urban infrastructure make living here something very special.
