Location description
Lochhausen is located between Aubing and Langwied on the western outskirts of Munich. Lochhausen is directly connected to the public transport network via the S3 in the direction of Mammendorf. The district is just as easy to reach by car via the A99 motorway accessed via the Munich-Lochhausen junction. Lochhausen is one of the largest – but also most sparsely populated – districts of Munich.
Lochhausen boasts good and growing infrastructural development. All the shops you need for everyday errands are within easy reach and day nurseries, kindergartens and schools are available nearby. A larger shopping area can be reached by car in about 5 minutes. Here there's an excellent range shops for everyday needs up to furniture and fashion shops. There are plenty of restaurants and inns offering national and international cuisine in the vicinity. Doctors and pharmacies are also available in large numbers.
You can get to Pasing in a quarter of an hour by S-Bahn, bus or car. Pasinger Marienplatz captivates with its diverse shopping opportunities while the Pasing Arkaden are also well known destinations. Pasing has an urban structure that provides medical care, various hospitals, restaurants and educational institutions.
