Project description
Project description
Your dream of a sustainable life can come true here: Beyond the metropolises, in the countryside with lots of peace and quiet, but still well connected and equipped with contemporary standards, you will soon be able to realize your dream of having your own four walls in Hückelhoven. In the Doveren district you now have the chance to own a modern home in the “Doverener Mühle” district. Because the best investment in the future is and remains your own home that represents sustainability both ecologically and economically.
A small, fine neighborhood is being created here with a total of 23 houses, of which 4 semi-detached houses and seven terraced houses - in a chain of four and five - are being offered in the first construction phase. All houses are not only energy efficient, but as Efficiency House 40 they also meet the requirements of the currently valid funding programs. The future is taken care of in two ways: modern house types rely on a resource-saving, sustainable energy concept with a district heating connection - this saves costs and protects the environment.
The construction project offers spacious house types with living spaces of just under 126 to 141 m², spread over three floors with 4 to 5 rooms. The houses each have a parking space and some houses also have a garage. Of course, every house has its own garden with a terrace included, and some also have a roof terrace. The area will be accessed via a new traffic-calmed private road.

Welcome to the countryside
Hückelhoven and the Doveren district offer an extremely attractive mix of village character and urban infrastructure. In the area there are easily accessible local amenities and a developed social community with an active club life. Here you are close to nature in a perfectly equipped surrounding area with charming small towns.
The new quarter is being built in the center of Doveren on Dammweg on the site of the “Doverener Mühle”, which was run as a hotel and restaurant for many years. There are kindergartens and a primary school in the village. The Baal railway connection in the neighboring town on the Aachen-Mönchengladbach route connects the town across the board. The Hückelhoven junction on the A46 enables you to reach the cities of Düsseldorf, Neuss and Mönchengladbach as well as the neighboring Netherlands.
In neighboring Hückelhoven, cultural events also take place regularly around the former Sophia Jacoba mine site. A highlight in the immediate vicinity is a small forest, also called the “Forest of Blue Flowers”: Every spring a dense blue-green carpet of harebells grows in the middle of the forest, covering the ground in a veritable sea of flowers. The landscape is characterized by its proximity to the Netherlands and the Eifel. Not far is the small river Rur, whose Rur bank cycle path leads from the High Fens to Roermond and invites you to explore the surrounding area.
