Hückelhoven and the Doveren district offer an extremely attractive mix of village character and urban infrastructure. The new quarter is being built in the center of Doveren on Dammweg on the site of the “Doverener Mühle”, which was run as a hotel and restaurant for many years. There are kindergartens and a primary school in the village. The Baal railway connection in the neighboring town on the Aachen-Mönchengladbach route connects the town across the board. The Hückelhoven junction on the A46 enables you to reach the cities of Düsseldorf, Neuss and Mönchengladbach as well as the neighboring Netherlands.
