The location | Geltendorf
Geltendorf's municipal infrastructure is excellent. All local suppliers, doctors, pharmacies etc. are available, as well as kindergarten, crèche, primary school etc. You can find secondary schools in nearby Fürstenfeldbruck, around Ammersee or in St. Ottilien, just 4 km away.
Geltendorf and Kaltenberg offer a variety of excursion destinations and sights.
An absolute must is the annual Kaltenberg knight tournament at Kaltenberg Castle. The lakes in the area are ideal for long walks, but bike tours are also a popular weekend program. The beer garden in Schloss Kaltenberg is known far beyond the borders of the local community, and nearby Ammersee can be reached in a few minutes.
Untermeitingen is a municipality in the Swabian county of Augsburg, about 20 km south of the city of Augsburg itself. The entire Lechfeld area has been booming for years. The infrastructure of the emerging community resembles that of a small town.
Geltendorf: ideal for commuters
Geltendorf is situated in the catchment area for the two cities of Munich and Augsburg and can be reached quickly by car as well as by train. It is only a few kilometres away from the Munich-Lindau A96 motorway. The Augsburg-Füssen B17 can also be reached quickly.
The S-Bahn train station is about 4 km away from the property. The train connections to Munich are excellent thanks to the S4 line and regional trains. You can reach Munich by regional train in 30 minutes and by S-Bahn in 40 minutes. You can even get to Pasing by long-distance transport in just over 20 minutes without stops. Augsburg and the Allgäu are also well connected to this location, with a good and regular public transport timetable.
