In the popular district town of Husum and thus directly on the North Sea and the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site, a modern new building is being built in one of the most sought-after locations in the city, consisting of two identical residential quarters with nine residential units each.

The primary goal of this exclusive new building project is to create your individual dream apartment with the help of sustainable and innovative building materials. This home should not only meet your current needs, but also offer long-term value and stability. We are aware that your new home is not just a place to live, but an investment in your future.

On the following pages we would like to show you in detail how we try to achieve this goal in the best possible way. As a future owner, you can rely on us to offer a comprehensive and worry-free package. From the planning, in which you can be involved if you wish, to the completion, the greatest importance is placed on creating not just an apartment but a home that reflects your lifestyle.

You can configure the respective penthouse apartments almost completely according to your ideas and design them together with the Schmidt planning office.

On the ground floor there are four 2-room apartments with living space between approx. 52 m² and approx. 58 m².

The first floor, which contains a 2-room apartment and two 3-room apartments, has living space between approx. 52 m² and approx. 88 m².

A special feature is the second floor in combination with the attic. Two comfortable apartments are being built there. With a living area of approx. 135 m² on two levels, we offer you the opportunity to actively participate in the floor plan planning.

Good to know

Your advantages

...this inner city location is very difficult to beat: In the middle of the district town, you have everything you need for life within walking distance and still live in a quiet and traffic-calmed location.

Attractive floor plans:
The residential units are comfortably designed and are between approx. 52 and approx. 135 square meters in size. The individual apartments have a well-thought-out and harmonious spatial concept.

Configure your floor plans yourself:
For the residential units on the 2nd floor, you have the opportunity to incorporate your own ideas into the planning of the floor plans.

If you have any requests for changes to the apartment you have selected, these will of course be checked by the developer for feasibility and, if necessary, implemented in consultation with you. The basis for this is always the separate building description.

If, for example, you want to combine two apartments, that would also be possible. A new usage concept - individually tailored to you - will then be created together with you.

Underground parking spaces:
Each residential unit is assigned an underground parking space. Open parking spaces can also be purchased.

Turnkey handover:
You don't have to worry about anything: you will receive a turnkey residential unit that is ready to move in (including underground parking space, without fitted kitchen).

Outdoor facilities:
The house entrances, driveways, terraces, bicycle and other access routes are designed according to the building description. The construction will be carried out in accordance with the site plan.

City of Husum

Macro location

Husum was first mentioned in documents in 1409. Due to the great storm surge in 1362 (Grote Mandränke), which created a navigable connection between the Mühlenau valley and the sea, Husum became a coastal town and soon developed into an important transshipment port. Maritime trade and the market rights granted in 1465 led to Husum's economic rise. Husum is now the district town of the Nordfriesland district, which was merged in 1971 from the then districts of Eiderstedt, Husum and Südtondern, and a medium-sized centre with a catchment area of around 100,000 inhabitants. The historic trading and port town of Husum lies in the centre of Husum Bay. It has an area of 177.70 km² and around 23,000 inhabitants. The historic buildings and streets as well as the surrounding coastal landscape characterise the image of the district town. Husum has become known worldwide as the "Theodor Storm town", is the cultural centre of North Friesland, but is also a popular conference venue and excursion destination. Husum has a wide range of cultural offerings. Numerous theater and concert events take place. Husum is also the venue for sophisticated concerts as part of the "Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival". Another special attraction is the Husum Castle Park, where millions of crocuses bloom in spring.

Right on the edge of the "Storm City" of Husum, in the municipality of Schwesing, the 18-hole golf course is located in a typical Schleswig-Holstein landscape, surrounded by prehistoric megalithic tombs. In the center you can buy all your everyday needs, as well as exquisite items. There are enough hotels and restaurants, from fast food to upscale. Sports, leisure and cultural facilities, savings banks, general education schools, adult education centers, kindergartens, youth hostels, etc. round off the offering. To the north/east there is an industrial area with various service companies. As a trade fair and conference city with a long tradition, the cozy North Sea port city of Husum offers you various room capacities for events. The district town of Husum is of great importance, especially for older people, as it is characterized by excellent medical care and a large number of specialists such as ophthalmologists, pulmonologists, surgeons, osteopaths, urologists, cardiologists, dermatologists, oncologists, ENT doctors, etc. have settled there and are easily accessible - even without a car. The Nordfriesland Clinic in Husum is set up to treat acute illnesses such as heart attacks, strokes and accidents of all kinds around the clock. The public transport network is excellently developed, so that you could easily do without a car. Husum train station is a stop for regional and IC traffic. Connections to Sylt run every hour, and Hamburg can be easily reached by train every half hour. There are motorway connections to the A 7 and A 23.

Micro location

Danckwerthstraße: The origin
Caspar Danckwerth (*1605 in Oldenswort; † January 25, 1672 in Husum) was a doctor, historiographer and mayor of Husum in 1641. He attended the Husum Latin school and then studied in Helmstedt, Jena, Altdorf, Strasbourg and Basel, where he received his doctorate in medicine in 1633. He then settled in Husum as a doctor and became mayor in 1641. A few years later he met the cartographer Johannes Mejer, to whom Danckwerth offered his support in editing his maps and writing explanations for Johannes Mejer's maps. Danckwerth had already planned to publish a history of the duchies of Holstein and Schleswig. Thanks to his preparatory work, the explanations grew into a comprehensive, detailed description of Schleswig-Holstein, including a long historical introduction. Danckwerth wrote He also wrote other works on regional history and theology, some of which have only been preserved as manuscripts and some of which have been lost completely. His gravestone is on the north wall of St. Mary's Church in Husum.

Danckwerthstrasse: The location
The district town of Husum could hardly be more central. Danckwerthstrasse is located in the immediate vicinity of the town centre and the Husum inland port. Here you will not only find various restaurants and shopping opportunities but also a large number of offices, doctors and other infrastructure that make your life easier and are very easy to reach on foot.

Danckwerth: The meaning
The name Danckwerth is derived from an Old Norse or Old High German name. Danckwerth is probably made up of the names "Dank" (old German for "thought" or "gratitude") and "wert" (meaning "valuable" or "worthy"). Thus, the name "Danckwert" could mean "The Valuable One" or "The Worthy One".
