The location
Rockau
The construction project is located approx. 9 km east of Dresden city center and is in the idyllic district of Rockau, in the district of Helfenberg.
The popular Rockauerhöhe vantage point, also called "Sachsens Hiefel" by the locals, with a wonderful view over Dresden, is only 200 m away from the project.
The south of Rockau still has its village charm, well-preserved historic farmsteads characterize the town center. The north is like a residential suburb, here you will find newly built single and small apartment buildings.
Two roads lead from the village via Helfenberg to Cunnersdorf and via Eichbusch to Schönfeld. In these surrounding districts there are various day care centers, primary schools and secondary schools, which can be reached by car in less than 10 minutes. There is also a bus stop in town. Line 98B takes you to Weißig or Pappritz Stollberg.
In Weißig, 6 km away, there is a larger shopping center and an excellent infrastructure of service providers and shops. You can reach the A4 towards Bautzen via the S177 and the A4, A13 and A14 towards Leipzig and Berlin via the B6.
