Project description
The apartments
You can live and feel good here! In a popular location in Bochum Weitmar, MH Architektur is building thirteen high-quality condominiums with large gardens and balconies as well as an attractive commercial unit.
A great mix for families, couples, investors and business people: everyone will find the right refuge here and therefore a safe investment in the future.
Elegant architecture and facades, energy-efficient construction based on GEG 2020, photovoltaic system paired with branded products and high-quality construction and execution ensure you sustainable quality when purchasing your new home. Apartment sizes between approx. 98 m2 to approx. 139 m2 as well as a commercial unit of approx. 75 m2 offer the best possible selection for everyone.
The house is built “stone by stone”. The outfitting and floor plans meet high standards and can be adapted to your individual wishes if necessary.

Location
How everything changes... around 1850, coal began to be mined and extracted in Weitmar. Weitmar's proximity to the banks of the Ruhr was ideal for transporting the mined energy source. From then on, the entire Ruhr area developed into a hotspot for the mining and steel industries. The Rombacher Hütte, founded in Weitmar, was once one of the large steelworks in Bochum, which was closely linked to the typical Ruhr area. But as early as 1980, the city of Bochum decided to acquire the site at that time in order to start the turnaround. Today, new companies from all sectors are based there.
One of the most important streets also dates back to the times of miners and steel makers: Hattinger Straße with almost a thousand house numbers. Its history goes back to the Hilinciweg and was a section of federal highway 51 from Bremen to Saarbrücken. The road from Hattingen to Bochum was used to transport coal from the Ruhr mines to the loading stations on the Lippe and was one of the first paved overland roads in what later became the Ruhr area.
Today there are only a few “contemporary witnesses” left: leisure areas are very common in the south of Weitmar. The Weitmarer Holz in the south, for example, or the nearby Kemnad reservoir represent the high recreational value that can be enjoyed in the south of Bochum.
And again a little piece of history is added: 13 original condominiums and a commercial unit are being built on a very beautiful property in this closed and mature environment. The floor plans are surprisingly fresh, varied and generously designed - a very special room program with great attention to detail.
Unique and prestigious that's the only way to describe this project! Just great...
